Craft Nova Scotia and The Centre for Craft is required, under the Provincial Proof of Vaccine Policy, to obtain proof of vaccine from all program participants, volunteers, and visitors upon entering our facilities, effective October 4, 2021.

For more information about the provincial policy:  https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/proof-of-full-vaccination-policy/

We are doing our best to make this a smooth process as possible. Thank you for your patience’s and consideration with team members as we navigate the implementation of the policy and procedures.

Our classes have been successful because of the cooperation and ongoing communication with all the studio users and we thank you for that. It is our hope that all students and staff continue to feel safe in our studios and for that we ask for your ongoing efforts in helping us enforce the policies we have in place. See Protocol and Policies here.

If you have any questions regarding the studios, please contact the Studio Coordinator at:

902-492-2524 or studio.coordinator@craftnovascotia.ca

As a not for profit organization with a small team we are extremely grateful that we are able to make this shift online to make signing up easier for everyone. We hope you can all help us keep growing by being patient when issues do arise.

Thank you so much for your support!

Online registration

We have been working with a new website with online registration! As we continue working with this new system please bear with us as we figure it all out.

We understand that it is a stressful time trying to register for the class you want. The first day of registration is very busy as we fill spaces on a first-come-first-serve basis and have limited space.

Please check your junk/spam folders for confirmation emails.

  • Students Name, their contact info, and payment (made online at the time of registration). Payment must be taken at the time of registration to secure your spot in the class. Note: HST is NOT included in the listed course fees.
  • You will have 10 minutes at the online check out to complete registration.
  • You will only be able to register one person per class. You can sign up for as many classes as you would like.
  • We maintain a waiting list and encourage students to ask to be added to it. If we have enough students and if there is a day available in the schedule with an instructor available to teach, we will run a second class.
  • Students must be 16 years of age or older (unless individual course outline specifies under 16 appropriate).
  • Over the recent years we have worked at making our studios accessible but are still aware of some limitations. Some of the workshops we offer can be physically demanding. If you have any accessibility concerns, please do not hesitate to call the Centre to discuss these concerns prior to registering.
