Our classes have been successful because of the cooperation and ongoing communication with all the studio users and we thank you for that. It is our hope that all students and staff continue to feel safe in our studios and for that we ask for your ongoing efforts in helping us enforce the policies we have in place. See Protocol and Policies here.

Classes Information & Registration

Spring 2022 Workshops:

Courses and workshops will run from April 24th – June 19th, 2022.

Registration Opens April 1st, 2022. At 10:00am registration for all workshops.

The Centre for Craft strictly adheres to the safe health guidelines and directives of the Nova Scotia Public Health Authority.

As of Feb 28, 2022, we no longer require proof of vaccination from our students.  As of March 21, 2022, Craft Nova Scotia and the Centre for Craft have decided to maintain our masking policy within our facilities.  Please click HERE to see our “Protocols & Policies” page for Health Protocols.

As a not-for-profit organization with a small team, we are extremely grateful that we are able to make this shift online to make signing up easier for everyone. We hope you can all help us keep growing by being patient when issues do arise.

Thank you so much for your support!

Online registration

We understand that it is an exciting yet stressful time trying to register for the class you want. The first day of registration is very busy as we fill spaces on a first-come-first-serve basis and have limited space.

Please check your junk/spam folders for confirmation emails.

Registration Process:

  • Please make sure you have all necessary information (Student’s Name, E-mail, and Phone Number). If a class is not for the same person as the person placing the order, please leave a note on your order with the intended student’s name, email and phone number.
  • You will have 10 minutes at the online check out to complete registration.
  • Payment must be taken at the time of registration to secure your spot in the class. (Note: HST is NOT included in the listed course fees.)
  • Students must be 16 years of age or older (unless the course outline specifies a specific age range for younger students).

Waitlists: We maintain a waitlist for each course and encourage students to add themselves to it. If we have enough students and if there is a day available in the schedule with an instructor available to teach, we will run a second class.

Accessibility: Over the recent years we have worked at making our studios accessible but are still aware of some limitations. Some of the workshops we offer can be physically demanding. If you have any accessibility concerns, please do not hesitate to call the Centre to discuss these concerns prior to registering.
