Course description:
Designed for those with turning experience – we will explore multi-axis spindle turning. This course will walk you through a systematic approach that eliminates the guesswork often associated with this technique. Participants learn to make educated decisions to determine the locations of the axes, what profile to use on each segment, the appropriate size of wood to use, and other variables. Students will work through this course together and finish with a beautiful Whimsical Tree Sculpture.
Location: Wood Studio
The Centre for Craft’s Wood Studio is located within our Studios Building at 1096 Marginal Road, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Building Description: Look for a grey building with blue trim. On the right hand side heading south, a few parking lots down from the back of the Westin hotel.
