Summer Evenings Intro Pottery

clay included + students own tool kit (this can be found at the local art supply stores)

This is a beginner-level intensive course where students will get a quick and dirty introduction into working with clay. Students will learn techniques from hand-building from pinch pots to slab work, and throwing on the potter’s wheel.
George Jaehyun Cho, was born in Seoul, Korea, and moved to Canada when he was a teenager. Cho studied ceramics at Sheridan College in Ontario, and received his BFA in Ceramics from NSCAD University. After earning his MFA in Ceramics from West Virginia University in 2018, Cho began his technician position for the NSCAD Ceramics department in Halifax, Canada. Cho has participated in numerous artist residencies and exhibitions across North America as well as in China. His work is represented through Gallery House in Toronto.
