Christian McGinty, BFA, MFA (expected 2022)
Christian McGinty (he/they) is a queer artist and designer originally from Victoria, BC, and now working in Halifax, NS, on unceded Mi’kmaw territory. His artistic practice is heavily embedded in the digital, where he works with video and installation, whereas, his design work is rooted in the natural environment he finds himself in. His time growing up on Vancouver Island instilled a deep appreciation and love for the land base he occupies.
